The rumors about the new Danny Boyle film are getting out of hand, one thinks. No sooner had it emerged that rivals Aamir Khan and Shahrukh khan were starring in the Oscar winning director’s next film, Bombay Velvet, that now it is being reported that joining this starring cast is…John Abraham.
We can’t imagine that how exactly the three of them will get together, but perhaps Danny Boyle can so the trick. According to a gossip columnist, John Abraham was apparently the first actor to be signed on for the film. The thought of the film started when Abraham and good friend director Anurag Kashyab decided to work on another film after No Smoking.
According to the column, Bombay Velvet has three segments, john has been roped in for the second segment where he plays a real life 1960’s hero if the masses. SRK and Aamir have been cast in the first and the third segments respectively.
And apparently after Aamir was signed on for the film, friends told John that he was replaced. But John knew better, the gossip columnist recalls Anurag saying once how John had in fact cut down his price for Bombay Velvet. This looks like one giant bunch of rumors…or a film that will definitely be worth waiting for.
