Poor monkey was shifted again to its cage. This is an interesting incident in the history of Lahore Zoo.
The monkey was in empty cage of Peacock because his cage was under construction. At morning when staff opened the cage for routine cleanliness, the monkey came out from the cage and also from the Zoo. It came out on the main Mall road of Lahore and started to entertain outside people. It climbed up a tree to provide free of cost entertainment to everyone on the road. It disturbed the traffic for at least Two hours.
After that it went to Bagh e Jinnah, and showed some of its actions there. At that time, the Lahore Zoo administration and Rescue 1122 reached the spot to grab the monkey. Both the parties tried different plans to catch the Monkey but it was not easy for them. After a great struggle they succeeded to catch the monkey and it was shifted to its cage. It is the first incident in the history of Lahore Zoo that any animal came out of zoo like this.
