Bollywood hindi movie Once upon a time in mumbai starring Ajay devgan, emraan hashmi, kangna ranaut and prachi desai. Once upon a time in Mumbai traces the changing face of the Mumbai underworld and how it all started.
Once upon a time in mumbai has released on 30 july and got a very positive reception at the box-office. The hard-hitting 70s styled dialogues, the retro feel, superb dramatic moments and powerful performances, helped Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai get a decent initial. The collections only showed an increase over Saturday and Sunday. The first weekend net is approx. Rs 21 cr.
Even in the international market the film is faring much better than expected. “It has had the biggest opening overseas ever, especially in Dubai, for any Ajay Devgn or Emraan Hashmi-starrer,” says Sunny Khanna, senior vice president, Balaji Motion Pictures. As per trade reports, the film has grossed around AED 1 million (close to Rs.13 million) in Dubai in four days (as movies release on Thursdays there).
