Another  very good service announced by PTA ensuring consumers to know about the sim ownership on ther NIC number. By this service one can find that how many SIMS are registered in his/her NIC number and can take immediate action. After increasing terrosrism activities and using of mobile phones in major Bomb blast and terrorist activites. PTA took initiative to block all fake registered SIMS.

This service is based on self protection. Any person can find that how many SIMS are registereds on his/her NIC number by simple sending His/Her NIC number to 668.

Write NIC Number and send it to 668 (NIC must be written without dashes or spaces i.e 35202564538)SMS charges Rs. 2 Iclusive of all taxes.

In a second or two user will receive a message that shows number of SIMS of different Cellular Companies registered on that NIC. Message will look like this:

MOBILINK:2, SCO:0,TELENOR:4,UFONE:0,WARID:3,ZONG:1,Total: 10 data provided by Mobile Companies. Visit conserned Customer Service Center for Correction.

If the number of SIMS registerd is correct with you than you need not to worry but if it doesn’t match then you should immegiately visit all respective Customer Services Offices of Mobile companies. By showing your original NIC you can block all fake SIMS registered on your NIC immediately. This is on record that many individuals found huge number of fake SIMS registered on their NIC so hurry up and protect your self from any terrorist activity with your name.
